Details
The HM Land Registry dataset inventory contains both internal and external raw data, which has not been analysed or interpreted. It is a snapshot view and not an official statistic as defined by (section 6(1) of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007).
Data not publicly available
For legal reasons, some datasets cannot be disclosed. Data sets marked as ‘yes’ in the ‘disclosive column’ cannot be disclosed because the data may:
- contain information that would compromise HM Land Registry security procedures
- be commercially sensitive
- contain personal information that contravenes the Data Protection Act
Blank columns
Information may have intentionally been left blank for a number of reasons, eg there may not be a licence in place under which published information can be re-used, or the information may not be pertinent to the particular dataset.
Security marking
We use security classifications to help us identify and work with information of different sensitivities, protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the organisation’s assets. Once applied, the markings indicate the value of the asset, how it should be protected and who should be given access to it. The markings are standard throughout government.
