Details

Our resource accounts for the year ended 31 March 2010 include  a management commentary, remuneration report, statement of the accounting officer’s responsibilities, statement on internal control, the audit report, and the consolidated resource accounts and related notes.

These accounts show the Department’s income and expenditure for the year and assets and liabilities at the year end.

Also published with the resource accounts this year are some annexes which were formerly included in  the annual report. These annexes consist  of some core tables of financial information, a report on performance, and recommendations from the Public Accounts Committee and from the Parliamentary Ombudsman.

The department did not publish a combined annual report and accounts this year, in accordance with guidance from HM Treasury.
