This Strategy has been prepared in response to the publication of HM Treasury’s Cross Cutting Review, ‘The Role of the Voluntary and Community Sector in Service Delivery’.

 

It highlights the Department’s work in engaging with the voluntary and community sector (VCS) and volunteer work, and sets out the roles and responsibilities of DCMS and its sponsored bodies in implementing the recommendations contained in the Cross Cutting Review.

The Strategy was first published in October 2004 and revised in February 2006.
