This research report sets out a possible pathway for the decarbonisation of offshore wind operations and maintenance vessels.

It includes:

  • an overview of the current landscape of the sector
  • a ranked assessment of barriers to decarbonisation
  • a corresponding list of possible interventions by industry and governments

The research was commissioned to inform Operation Zero and is intended for use by policymakers, industry and investors.

Department for Transport (DfT) and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) jointly commissioned the report.
