DECISION

On findings pursuant to 26(1)(a), 26(1)(c)(iii), 26(1)(e), 26(1)(f)), 27(1)(a) and 27(1)(b) of the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995

  1. The standard international goods vehicle operator’s licence of BJ Haulage Carnagh Limited OC2029188 is revoked with effect from 8 November 2022.
  2. The company, BJ Haulage Carnagh Limited, is disqualified from holding or obtaining any type of operator’s licence in any traffic area, with effect from 8 November 2022 for 12 months until 8 November 2023, pursuant to Section 28(1) of the Act.
  3. The director Bernard James Hughes is disqualified from holding or obtaining any type of operator’s licence in any traffic area, and from being director of any company holding or obtaining such a licence with effect with effect from 8 November 2022 for 12 months until 8 November 2023, pursuant to pursuant to Section 28 (1), (4) and (5) of the Act.
  4. The good repute of transport manager Bernard James Hughes is lost, pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Act. Under paragraph 16 of that Schedule, he is disqualified from acting as a transport manager on any operator’s licence with effect from 8 November 2022 for 12 months until 8 November 2023
