Pursuant to adverse findings under Section 26(1)(a), (b), (c)(iii), (f) and (h) of the Goods Vehicle (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995, Licence OK1117843 is curtailed to 19 vehicles and 2 trailers with effect from 23:45 on 12 August 2024. The operating centres at Erith and Mulberry Wharf are to be removed at the point from the VOL record.
The application to add Richard Holmes as a Transport Manager on OK1117843 is granted with immediate effect.
Upon a finding that the Transport Manager Daniel Patrick Lyons no longer satisfies the requirements of Section 13A(3) of the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995 to be of good repute, in accordance with Schedule 3 of the said Act, and a finding that he is unfit to manage the transport activities of an undertaking, Daniel Patrick Lyons is disqualified from acting as a Transport Manager on any Operator Licence for an indeterminate period with effect from 23:45 on 12 August 2024. It is not appropriate to set rehabilitation measures at this time, but Daniel Patrick Lyons has liberty to apply for further details in the future.
Pursuant to adverse findings under Section 26(1)(a), (b), (c)(iii), (f) and (h) of the Goods Vehicle (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995 and Section 27(1)(a) (professional competence) Licence OF2056101 exceptionally retains an authorisation of 16 vehicles and 16 trailers, I grant a period of grace for a new Transport Manager to be appointed (see below).
Upon a finding that the Transport Manager Shaun Alan Wright no longer satisfies the requirements of Section 13A(3) of the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995 to be of good repute, in accordance with Schedule 3 of the said Act, and a finding that he is unfit to manage the transport activities of an undertaking, Shaun Alan Wright is disqualified from acting as a Transport Manager on any Operator Licence for 12 months with effect from 23:45 on 12 August 2024.
I grant a Period of Grace until 23:45 on 12 October 2024 for a new Transport Manager to be nominated on Licence OF2056101 in prescribed manner and approved by a Commissioner.
OD2062068 DANCON SERVICES LIMITED.
I grant application OD2062068 for a Standard National Licence authorising 10 vehicles with David Stephen Sorrell as the nominated Transport Manager. The current time limited interim terminates as a matter of law in the usual way.
