The Traffic Commissioner for Western England decided:
The Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995 (as amended) (“the Act”)

Pursuant to a finding of loss of financial standing and professional competence, the licence is revoked in line with Section 27(1)(a).

To allow, perhaps, for the vehicle to return to its base, revocation will take effect from 23:59 hours, 16 November 2024.

Steven Allen’s good repute as transport manager is lost and he is disqualified from acting as such for a period of one year and until he sits and passes again the transport manager certificate of professional competence.

Pursuant to Section 28 of the Act, Steven Allen is disqualified from applying for or holding a goods vehicle operator’s licence anywhere in Great Britain until 16 November 2025.
