Dennis (Haddenham) Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 6/33/35/*S/0300/R01 which authorises the abstraction of water from Haddenham Internal Drainage Board (IDB) drains and the River Great Ouse (Old West River).
The variation applied for is:
- To allow abstraction from additional reaches of the River Great Ouse (Old West River) and Old West IDB drains between the following National Grid References: TL 43816 72172 to TL 45955 71338; TL 43782 72140 to TL 44762 71961; TL 44803 71897 to TL 45912 71325; TL 44799 71901 to TL 45049 69328; TL 43350 70306 to TL 44593 70751; and TL 43525 71864 to TL 44428 71480.
- To allow water to be transferred from the river to Old West IDB drains;
- To allow abstraction using multiple pumps; and
- To correct location descriptions on the licence.
