This was published under the 2022 to 2024 Sunak Conservative government.

We are currently working on a new areas of research interest document to reflect the priorities of the new government.

The purpose of this document is to raise awareness among the external research community of the main DfE research priorities. It also provides information on:

  • DfE’s approach to publishing research and statistics
  • how to access data for the purposes of research
