This notice takes effect upon entry into force of the Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS) on 19 June 2023.
The UK government is suspending the preferential rate of customs duty on certain imports. This type of suspension is known as goods graduation. Goods graduation can be applied to countries receiving standard preferences under the DCTS.
This notice explains which goods will be graduated under the DCTS.
