Details

To support engagement, fisheries management, Fisheries Management Plan (FMP) development and delivery and the achievement of our strategic goals, the MMO needs to improve its understanding of its stakeholder networks. This project carried out a literature review, trials a social network analysis to provide insights on the fishing community and conducted interviews. The results highlighted how to build positive relationships with regulatory bodies and the importance of representation, including how the MMO could support the industry in overcoming barriers to participation.
