Devon Valley Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 14/45/002/1959 which authorises the abstraction of water from Permian Aquifers at National Grid Reference SS 99160 02834 in Hele, Exeter, Devon.
The variation applied for is to increase the quantity from 220,009 cubic metres per year to 290,000 cubic metres per year for the purpose of paper production.
