Common core tables: analysis of departmental expenditure
In line with HMT’s guidance on the preparation of 2012–13 Annual Report and Accounts, DFID has produced common core tables analysing departmental expenditure (these are included in chapter 7 of DFID’s 2012-13 Annual Report and Accounts). Tables cover the required period (either 2007–08 to 2014–15, or 2012–13 alone) and summarise key performance data against prior years, budget and forecast information. Figures up to and including 2012–13 show the actual resource outturn for that year, and for 2013–14 onwards indicative planning figures are presented. These figures were informed by the spending review 2010 and revisions to provisional allocations made within the Autumn Statement. Provisional plans may be subject to revision, as DFID strategy is continually reviewed to ensure that aid is used most effectively.
UK ODA: Annual reporting of statistical information
The International Development (Reporting and Transparency) Act 2006 sets out requirements for annual reporting of statistical information. This includes information on total UK bilateral aid, including a breakdown by country, as well as a breakdown of UK multilateral aid (these tables are included in Annex B of DFID’s 2012-13 Annual Report and Accounts). This information is published each autumn for the preceding year in DFID’s publication Statistics on International Development. Provisional figures for 2012 are provided in the tables. Information is included for the most recent period and each of the four periods before.
Results tables
These tables provide further DFID Results Framework (DRF) information, including additional detail to that in Table 2.1 of the annual report. They cover DRF results by country and across time. Further information is also provided on results by sector – in particular information from country-level Operational Plans as well as the main DRF indicators and multilateral results for each sector.
