This document provides the background, feedback and payment figures from the Direct Payment Demonstration Projects running in 6 areas across Great Britain. It covers the first 14 payments of Housing Benefit directly to tenants.

The projects test paying Housing Benefit directly to tenants to help make sure that the right support for tenants and landlords is in place before full implementation of Universal Credit.
