These manuals are issued by the Environment Agency Monitoring Certification Scheme (MCERTS) to ensure that the Direct Toxicity Assessment Proficiency Scheme (DTAPS) is operated in accordance with the ‘Guidelines for the Requirements for the Competence of Providers of Proficiency Testing Schemes; ILAC-G13:2000’ and the ‘Proficiency Testing by Interlaboratory Comparisons; ISO/IEC Guide 43-1 & 2: 1997’.
