This guidance explains when and how national curriculum programmes of study and assessment arrangements may be disapplied:
- to develop the school curriculum for a particular group of students
- for curriculum development and experimentation
- for pupils who have a statement of special educations needs
This relates to the Education Act 2002 (sections 90, 92 and 93).
