Details

This statement sets out how we have acted on modern slavery following the publication of the UK government’s modern slavery statement. It highlights how we protected workers at highest risk and sets out our goals for the forthcoming year.

This is our first modern slavery statement. It covers the period from 1 April 2020 until 31 March 2021.

The statement outlines the work carried out across 3 primary areas.

They are:

  • increasing understanding of the practices of modern slavery and how and when it can occur
  • analysing our procurement portfolio and identifying where the risks are highest
  • building the capability required to progress work to reduce modern slavery risks across supply chains
