The recommendations from The Advisory Committee on the Safety of Blood, Tissues and Organs (SaBTO) are detailed in this report, together with information on the approach used and the evidence considered.

SaBTO recommended some changes to current practice, for unrelated adult donors of haematopoietic stem cells, cord blood donors and donors of banked tissues.
