This public notice has been withdrawn and replaced by Notices made under the Taxation (Cross-border Trade) Act 2018 and Notices made under the Customs (Import Duty) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018 to reflect changes from 1 January 2022 about delaying import declarations for goods that are not controlled into Great Britain from Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The attached documents provide the text for certain notices that will be made under The Customs (Transitional Arrangements) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020. The notices cover a number of different matters and are set out according to the order of the regulations to which they relate.

   The 'Public notices – declarations' attachment has been amended to show the period for making a transitional Entry in the Declarant’s Records (EIDR) simplified customs declaration process for goods imported from the EU has been extended to 31 December 2021.
