Water companies write drought plans every 5 years.

This document explains:

  • what water companies are expected to include in their drought plans and the guidance available
  • how customers and others can comment on water company drought plans

Water companies which are wholly or mainly in Wales, or wholly or mainly in England but have sources in Wales, should refer to the Water company drought plan technical guideline from Natural Resources Wales when they develop their drought plans.
