TAKE NOTICE that the Secretary of State for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has granted a drought order to the Environment Agency (“the Agency”) under Section 73 of the Water Resources Act 1991. The drought order is required to address the threat of a serious deficiency of supplies of water in Teggs Nose Reservoir and Bottoms Reservoir at Langley, Macclesfield (National Grid Reference: SJ 94 71) caused by an exceptional shortage of rain.
