Steve Brine MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Public Health and Primary Care, and Sarah Newton MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Crime, Safeguarding and Vulnerability, write to the Advisory Council on Misuse of Drugs (ACMD) in reply to reports on:

  • opioid substitution therapy
  • reducing opioid-related deaths in the UK
  • diversion and illicit supply of medicines
  • independent prescribing of controlled drugs by therapeutic radiographers

Victoria Atkins MP, Minister for Crime, Safeguarding and Vulnerability responds on the issue of drug consumption rooms.
