The department is content to approve this application on the condition that for 2 years from Jaek’s last day of paid service:
- Jake must not draw on any privileged information that was available to him as a Crown Servant.
- Jake must not seek to discover through his existing network of Government officials, intelligence, or information about DWP or Government approaches/strategies.
- Jake must not lobby the Department for Work and Pensions.
- If the role as Jake has described it in his application changes significantly in a way that might affect the conditions we have applied, he should inform the Department.
- If Jake wishes to accept any other appointment within the next 2 years, the rules require him to submit a fresh application for approval.
