2. Change to the felling licence application process for biosecurity or public safety
2.1 A small number of felling licence applications directly related to the management of tree pests and diseases or a public safety issue, may now be excluded from publication on the Consultation Public Register by the Forestry Commission.

It remains vital that you continue to make felling licence applications in a timely way. It is an offence to fell trees without a felling licence if one is required.
