The English Hubs Programme (EHP) was established in 2018. 34 Hubs were selected for their expertise in teaching early reading. Hubs work with selected schools in their surrounding area to help them provide excellent teaching in phonics and early reading.

This research was carried out by the Department for Education to estimate the impact of EHP on pupils’ phonics attainment.
