1. Action: August 2014 accounts return updated
Education Funding Agency (EFA) has published an updated version of the August 2014 accounts return
The format and information requested is unchanged, but includes reference and counterparty details of all academies that had converted by August 2014. Following feedback from academies, we have also made a small number of corrections in logic checks and cell formulae.
Please use this version to make your submission to EFA by 31 January 2015 deadline.
Registration is open for the 2 December question and answer webinar on the accounts return. Please register now and take the opportunity to submit questions in advance.

2. Action: 16 to 19 Bursary Fund - 2013 to 2014 management information (MI) return
The 16 to 19 Bursary Fund management information return for the completed 2013 to 2014 academic year closed on 31 October. We are still awaiting returns from a number of institutions. If you received bursary funding in 2013 to 2014 and have not returned your completed return, can you please do so as soon as possible.
The return form is available via GOV.UK. Institutions should read the supporting notes before completing the return, and will require their Unique Provider Identification Number (UPIN) to start the form.

3. Information: Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) information for applicants
We have published further information for academies and sixth-form colleges applying to access the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) in the 2015 to 2016 financial year and capital funding arrangements for multi-academy trusts.

4. Information: top-up insurance online claim form launched
The new top-up insurance claim form for the 2014 to 2015 academic year has been launched. It will enable academies to claim top-up funding for insurance costs when those costs exceed funding provided in the general annual grant (GAG).
The online return form requires data such as current insurance costs and the number of students in order to assess eligibility. It also provides details about when you will receive your funding or if further information is required to process a claim.
5. Reminder: submit your non-domestic rates (NNDR) funding claims
All academies, free schools, studio schools and UTCs are eligible to claim funding for their national non-domestic rates (NNDR) invoices for the 2014 to 2015 financial year.
Claims should be submitted using an online form and will be paid within 2 months.
6. Information: PE and sport premium funding for 2014 to 2015
We have published details of the PE and sport premium funding which primary schools will receive in the academic year 2014 to 2015.
Guidance on the PE and sport premium, including payment dates and advice on how to spend the funding, is also available.
