The Electoral Commission published its report on voter identification at the July 2024 UK Parliamentary general election on 11 September 2024, and a full report on the May 2024 local, Police and Crime Commissioner and Mayoral elections and the July General Election on 13 November 2024.
This publication provides a full response to both Electoral Commission reports and sets out HM Government’s position on each of the recommendations made.
