Independent review of electrical engineering standards launch event, 5 March 2021
Join the experts behind this recent independent review of engineering standards in electricity, and senior BEIS and Ofgem representatives, for insight into its recommendations and next steps.
On 5 March 2021, from 10am-1pm we are hosting a launch event for the Independent Review:
Government and Ofgem jointly commissioned an independent panel, chaired by Simon Harrison, to undertake a review of electrical engineering standards.
The report outlines ways that electrical engineering standards can be changed such that:
- they are not creating undue costs on the electricity system and consumers
- they are effectively facilitating a smart and flexible electricity system
The panel was supported by detailed technical advice from Frazer Nash Consulting.
