This explanatory memorandum is about a European Commission proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council amending EU regulations 2016/424, 2016/425, 2016/426, 2019/1009 and 305/2011 as regards emergency procedures for the conformity assessment, adoption of common specifications and market surveillance due to a single market emergency.

It was submitted by Jacob Rees-Mogg MP, Secretary of State, Department for Business, Energy and Indiustrial Strategy.
