Details
BEIS is funding 6 local supply chain demonstration projects to test different approaches for increasing the rates of energy efficiency improvements in non-fuel poor homes, alongside renovation work, by providing support for local supply chain integration and project coordination.
The funding is being used over a period of two and a half years to develop a sustainable model for driving retrofit in a local area. A total of £4.7 million has been made available for the projects over this period.
The grant call closed in September 2018. In November 2018 we launched the pilots which will run until March 2021. A list of project summaries is available on this page.
Contractors will be addressing the non-financial barriers to retrofit such as:
- trust

- lack of awareness
Contractors are responsible for:
- project coordination
