Details

The Department of Energy and Climate Change announced the launch of the second phase of its Energy Entrepreneurs Fund on 13 June 2013 .

Of the total £35 million allocated over the Spending Review period to support the development and demonstration of innovative technologies or processes in energy efficiency, storage and low carbon generation, £16 million was awarded to entrepreneurs since the first phase in Autumn 2012 to help bring a range of new and innovative low carbon products to market.

£19 million is now available on a competitive, rolling basis to support projects up to a maximum value of £1 million for work completed by 31 March 2015.
