Details

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has initiated a review of the current 6 National Policy Statements (NPS) for energy infrastructure aiming to make any amendments by the end of 2021.

As part of a review of NPS, the Appraisal of Sustainability (AoS) and Habitat Regulations Assessment (HRA) are statutory requirements, so BEIS has requested input from statutory and relevant technical experts on the scope of the AoS and approach to the HRA by 6 May 2021.
