Details

This year sees the 100th anniversary of the creation of GAD, a dedicated actuarial department within government, as one of the recommendations of the landmark Haldane Report.

Throughout this year we are celebrating the central role we play in helping our clients deliver on public policy, as explained in this edition. We also examine the social security developments that were GAD’s original focus, and a recent GAD and HM Treasury event that considered the wider areas of public financial risk where we now offer support.
