This report describes the results of interviews and surveys with adults aged 24 and over who were eligible for the government’s free courses for jobs offer.
It reports on:
- barriers adult learners face in taking their first level 3 qualification
- their opinions on the free courses for jobs offer
- their interest in the available subjects
- factors that would encourage and enable adult learners to take up the offer
The findings will be used to inform National Skills Fund policy development and implementation.
