The Voluntary Sector Civil Protection Forum (VSCPF), with Cabinet Office, Department for Communities and Local Government Resilience and Emergencies Division and voluntary sector partners, has produced this guidance for resilience advisors.

The voluntary sector has an important role to play in supporting the statutory services when planning for, responding to and recovering from many emergencies. This guide can be used as a prompt for resilience advisors when asking local resilience forums (LRFs) about their level and scope of partnership working with the voluntary sector.
