Details
On 25 July 2019, Natural England submitted a collection of reports to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs setting out the proposals for improved access to the coast between Aust and Brean Down.
The opportunity to comment closed at midnight on Thursday, 19 September 2019. You can no longer make a representation or objection on proposals.
All representations and objections were considered before the Secretary of State made a final decision about the reports.

Outcome
On 9 July 2020, the Secretary of State announced their decision to approve the proposals for ABD2 to ABD5 and ABD7 to ABD10.
On 23 June 2022, the Secretary of State announced their decision to approve the proposals for ABD1.
On 7 May 2024, the Secretary of State announced their decision to approve the proposals for ABD6.
Natural England will publish further details of the approved route in due course.
