Details
On 17 July 2019, Natural England submitted a collection of reports to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs setting out the proposals for improved access to the coast between Calshot and Gosport.
The opportunity to comment closed at midnight on Wednesday, 11 September 2019. You can no longer make a representation or objection on proposals.
All representations and objections were considered before the Secretary of State made a final decision about the reports.

Outcome
On 23 January 2020, the Secretary of State approved the proposals for length CCG3.
On 11 November 2021, the Secretary of State approved the proposals for lengths CCG1 and CCG2.
This stretch is now open to the public and the route is available to view on the National Trails website
