Details
On 19 July 2017, Natural England submitted a report to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs setting out the proposals for improved access to the coast between Portsmouth and South Hayling.
The opportunity to comment closed at midnight on 13 September 2017. You can no longer make a representation or objection on proposals.
All representations and objections were considered before the Secretary of State made a final decision about the report.

Outcome
On 6 March 2024, the Secretary of State announced their decision to approve this stretch of the King Charles III England Coast Path between Portsmouth and South Hayling in Hampshire.
Natural England will publish further details of the approved route in due course.
