Details of the proposal
The Environment Agency is proposing to revoke (cancel) the abstraction licence numbers mentioned below.
The Environment Agency is required to give notice of this proposal. The Environment Agency give this notice under section 52 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and regulation 31 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
Licence number 13/43/028/S/114 allows the Licence Holder Somerley Estate, Estate Office, Somerley, Ringwood, Hampshire, BH24 3PL to abstract a total of 18,180 cubic metres a year at National Grid Reference (NGR) SU 139 087.
Licence number 13/43/037/S/101 allows the Licence Holder Les Blanches Vineries Limited, Stourbank Nursery, Ham Lane, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 7LS to abstract a total of 30,000 cubic metres a year at NGR SZ 047 994.
Licence number 16/52/007/S/135 allows the Licence Holder P J Coles, Lambridge Farm, Spaxton, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA5 1DR to abstract a total of 4,800 cubic metres a year at NGRs ST 239 360 and ST 240 357.
The proposal is to revoke (cancel) the licences listed above.
The Environment Agency has made this proposal as part of a programme to help restore sustainable abstraction and to conserve, and secure the proper use of, water resources.
