In this report the potential applications of the science within the Environment Agency are outlined to attempt to indicate where it could have the greatest impact to the business in the medium term. The caution that should be applied to this emerging science is also highlighted to help put the availability of the tools into context. A list of actions that need to be undertaken by the organisation is presented which will help it to move forward in a considered way and develop its role and agenda while the science continues to develop.
