Equinix (UK) Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number TH/039/0027/022 which authorises the abstraction of water from the Lower Green Sands at National Grid Reference (NGR) SU 94754 81577 in Slough.

The variation applied for is to relocate the point of abstraction to NGR SU 94754 81577 and to increase abstraction quantities to 35 cubic metres per hour, 840 cubic metres per day and 306,600 cubic metres per year.
