Details

The Equitable Life Payment Scheme has closed. It is no longer possible to make a claim from the scheme or request a recalculation of the amount of money received from it.

A brief history of the scheme, a final summary of payments made, the outcome of tracing efforts, a breakdown of policyholders remaining unpaid and a breakdown of policyholders by size of initial payments made.

The Equitable Life Payment Scheme closed in December 2015 after 4 years of activity, making payments to policyholders who had suffered relative loss following government maladministration in the affairs of Equitable Life during the 1990s.
