Action: Submitting your 2023 to 2024 audited financial statements by Tuesday 31 December 2024
We have published the accounts submission coversheet (ASC) online form and the guide to submitting your audited financial statements for 2023 to 2024. You should read the guide before completing the online form and uploading your documents.
You must upload your audited financial statements, auditor’s management letter and your internal scrutiny summary report within the ASC.
All academy trusts that had a signed funding agreement and had an open academy at any point during the accounting period to Saturday 31 August 2024, must submit audited financial statements, auditor’s management letter and an internal scrutiny summary report to ESFA. This includes free schools, studio schools and university technical colleges (UTCs).
The deadline for submitting accounts is Tuesday 31 December 2024.
Information: Accounts submission coversheet virtual assistant
There is a virtual assistant which you can ask advice on submitting your audited financial statements, auditor’s management letter and internal scrutiny summary report for the accounting period ending Saturday 31 August 2024.
This virtual assistant is a computer-based conversation that has been developed using the most common questions raised by trusts and external auditors, in relation to the accounts submission coversheet.
The assistant will give an immediate answer to the most commonly asked questions and speed up the time to respond to queries. Trusts and external auditors can ask the virtual assistant about the submission requirements, passwords and signatures.
