1. Latest information on coronavirus (COVID-19)
The Department for Education (DfE) has published guidance about COVID-19 in educational settings for staff, parents and carers, pupils and students on GOV.UK.
Please check GOV.UK regularly for updates.
2. Information: revenue funding allocation statements for 2020 to 2021
Last week we issued 16 to 19 revenue funding allocation statements for special post-16 institutions and non-maintained special schools to ESFA Information Exchange. Your allocation includes a breakdown of our calculation and we have published a short video and guidance to help you understand your allocation statement. You can find your file in the ESFA Information Exchange in the Document Exchange ‘Revenue Funding’ folder, under ‘AY 2020-21 (2020/21)’.
The deadline for business cases is Thursday 30 April 2020 and we aim to communicate outcomes by the end of June. However, we know that providers are working through exceptional circumstances due to COVID-19 and this might make it difficult to meet the deadline. We will consider cases received after the deadline and aim to let you know the outcomes as soon as we are able. However, for some of the more complex or late cases you might receive decisions from July onwards.
We will apply minimum thresholds to decide whether we will consider your case. Please review the thresholds before submitting your business case.
3. Information: updated pupil premium allocations for 2019 to 2020
We have updated the published pupil premium allocations for 2019 to 2020 to reflect quarter 4 payments.
4. Information: updated 2019 to 2020 dedicated schools grant (DSG) allocations
We have updated the published DSG allocations for 2019 to 2020, to reflect changes in recoupment and high needs place numbers.
We have also updated the high needs: allocated place numbers for 2019 to 2020.
5. Information: consistent financial reporting framework 2020 to 2021
We have published the consistent financial reporting framework for 2020 to 2021. This guidance helps schools collect information about their income and expenditure.
6. Information: final qualification achievement rates (QAR)
We will publish your final QAR 2018 to 2019 data tomorrow on Thursday 26 March. All the data will be available through:
- the View Your Education Data portal
- the National Achievement Rate Tables (these will be published at 9:30am)
