Information: Land and buildings collection tool guidance and workbook 2024
The land and buildings collection tool (LBCT) guidance has been updated. The academy LBCT excel workbook has been added to the GOV.UK webpage to help your trust prepare for the LBCT.
When the LBCT goes live on Tuesday 8 October 2024, it will be available on DfE Sign-in (DSI). The identity and access management system (IDAMS) will no longer be operational.
All trust users should have received an email from the DSI team about how to activate their DSI accounts. If you already have a DSI account, all you will need to do is sign-in as you normally would and select the LBCT service from the list on your services page. If you are a new user, you will need to create a DSI account.
Information: Post-16 schools budget grant
The post-16 schools budget grant guidance has now been published. We are aiming to publish the conditions of grant and the allocations at institutional level by October.
We expect to pay the grant in:
- November 2024 for local authorities
- December 2024 for academies
