Information: Roundtables for managing public money
We have been working with the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) to deliver a series of roundtable discussions aimed at improving the awareness and understanding of managing public money (MPM) as set out in the college financial handbook, to fully embed it in the culture of the statutory further education (FE) sector.
These sessions aim to support the sector dialogue and engagement around MPM in the FE sector, as set out in the dear accounting officer letter, bite-size guides and the college financial handbook, which came into effect from Thursday 1 August 2024, and oversight support and intervention guidance.
The sessions are targeted at governors, governance professionals and senior leaders accountable for financial propriety, including CEOs/Principals, Chief Financial Officers, Finance and HR Directors of statutory FE sector providers.
These will be free online sessions. You can book a place on the MPM sessions and find further information on the booking site.
