2. Helping providers understand implications of the adult education budget devolution/delegation from 2019 to 2020
Information
As part of the preparations for devolution/delegation the Department for Education have issued illustrative AEB allocations for 2018 to 2019 to Mayoral Combined Authorities (MCAs) and the Greater London Authority (GLA).
These illustrative budgets give MCAs and the GLA an indication of the AEB they can expect to receive in the funding year 2019 to 2020.
We have published what this means for providers on GOV.UK.
3. Adult education budget funding rules 2018 to 2019
Information
This week, we will publish a draft version of the adult education budget (AEB) funding rules 2018 to 2019.
These rules apply to all providers of education and training who receive AEB funding from the ESFA.

4. 2018 to 2019 adult education budget funding rates and formula
Information
We have published version 1 of the 2018 to 2019 adult education budget funding rates and formula document.
This sets out the principles and features of the funding system for the adult education budget for the 2018 to 2019 funding year.
There are no changes to the how we set funding rates or the funding calculation in the funding year 2018 to 2019.

5. Advanced learner loans 2018 to 2019
Information
This week we have published:

a draft version of the advanced learner loans funding rules, these rules apply to all providers of education and training who hold a loans facility with us - performance-management rules are currently being reviewed and will be in version 1 due to be published in May

2018 to 2019 advanced learner loans catalogue: this lists qualifications that are available for a loan up to 31 July 2019

2018 to 2019 advanced learner loans maximum loan amounts: these cover all designated qualifications, where learners start between 1 August 2018 to 31 July 2019

advanced learner loans prospectus for 2018 to 2019: this sets out for awarding organisations the criteria and process that we will use to designate qualifications for loans

6. Final qualification achievement rates for 2016 to 2017
Information
We will publish the final qualification achievement rates (QAR) data for 2016 to 2017 tomorrow, Thursday 22 March 2018 on both the HUB and through the Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards. The BI dashboards will include both the national and provider type QARs for benchmarking your rates.
The National Achievement Rate Tables for 2016 to 2017 will be published tomorrow, Thursday 22 March at 9:30am.
