We were asked about attendance at meetings of the Council of the European Union Wales Office representatives; and some information on secondments from the Wales Office since 1999.
The Wales Office has not to date attended any meetings of the Council of the European Union, and none of our staff have had secondments with the UK’s Permanent Representation to the EU (UKRep). Similarly, no Wales Office staff have been seconded to the European Commission. One of our staff began a period of secondment with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on 16 August 2009
