Details

The guidance is for organisations wishing to be appointed as notified bodies under EU product regulations. It sets out:

  • requirements
  • assessment criteria
  • route to accreditation
  • duties of organisations

Notified bodies are independent organisations accredited and appointed by EU/EEA member state governments.

This guidance replaces the individual guidance for each directive.
