Details

This information pack sets out the role that local authorities and health and social care trusts have in ensuring that looked-after children and care leavers who are EU, EEA or Swiss citizens, or their family member, make an application to the EU Settlement Scheme.

The UK immigration status granted to eligible applicants under the scheme enables them to continue living in the UK after 30 June 2021, with the same rights and entitlements as they had before the UK left the EU.
